Water is held by Water-types like Squirtle's line, Shellos, Gastrodon, Slowpoke, and Slowbro. Their most common job is simple but vital: watering plants (as long as a water source is nearby) so crops grow and stay healthy.

They also clean up — washing mud off paths, objects, and Pokémon that have gotten dirty.

Most powerfully, Water specialists can perform a Rain Dance at the right site, actively starting rain to raise humidity across a biome. Combined with Burn's Sunny Day, you get full control of weather for comfort and farming.
