Burn

Burn is held by most Fire-types — Charmander's line, Torchic, Combusken and others. The most obvious use is lighting campfires and torches so your town doesn't go dark at night.

More importantly, Burn powers production. A Burn Pokémon at a Smelting Furnace turns raw materials into glass panes and metal ingots. Hand one some Squishy Clay and they'll bake it into Bricks — the primary way to stock up this key building material.

Burn specialists can also operate the Sunny Day Site, letting you force-stop rain when you need clear weather for a build or event.
